Wakefields in Horsham Ramraid
I was very sorry to hear about Wakefields jewellers in Horsham ram raid. I went to the bank the morning after, and saw the police working hard to gather evidence in the aftermath. The photos are of poor quality, because I took them with a very old video camera, I happened to have in the boot of the car (I’d rather have used my proper HD camera).

hi good pictures of the scene, shame it happened and a shame i had finished work that night and saw what had happend, the robbers saw me mind you it was my fault i just wanted to know what was happening then i relised and when they saw me they tried tokill me by running me down on the dirt bike. unforunalty the police said they would keep me up dated but they havent. all the updates i have are what have been published in the county times.

it happend at midnight i was walking up west street got as far as wilkinsons and heard a dirt bike looked up west street and saw it didnt think anything of it at the time because being a bar associate i often see night deliverys, so i justkept on walking up got as far as clarks shoe shop and saw the blue 4×4 jeep smached up and the front window of wakefields smashed then i saw on guy come running out of wakefields and run to the dirt bike and he said to his mate on the dirt bike go, then it hit me what had happened so then i saw the dirt bike come at me so i ran and got as far as whimpey’s alcove bit to there do and i jumped in there. 3 seconds after that i relised how close they were behind me and that they had tried to kill me. so i called the police on my phone and started to walk back up to the scene. buut the CCTV camera by the officers club was pointing down untill after it had happpend. but the guy on the bike was wearing a white helmet to do with the dirt bike and he had a green top like a jacket and black track suite bottoms and a pair of white trainners and black gloves, the guy who came out the building was all in black but i think hisblack jumper was a hoodie with some silver line on it . the next day at work i was talking to one of the regulars and he said that the CCTV from inside showed them get in and out of the building with in 3minuets but it must have taken them at least 10mins to get break though with the jeep, also i think the bike and the jeep where they at the same time, when i looked at the jeep after calling the police who thought that the jeep went the same way the police came to turn up past the fountain at by my work the lynd cross but that night i cleared outside and i didnt see anything and the police forgot that the middle ballard by waterstones could be liffted only one of the jeep doors was open. also i heard that the police found the dirt bike in brew bush according to a customer, but i didnt get home till 2 am after giving a statement the police said they would keep me updated but they havent. i also said if it goes to court i would go.
